The Plugable USB 3.0 Dual 4K Docking Station (UD-6950Z) is designed for those who want a one-stop upgrade for their USB 3.0 or USB-C laptop. This dock allows you to add dual displays, using DisplayPort or HDMI, and connect your peripherals, all through a single cable back to your laptop, making it easier to do more work in less time.

The UD-6950Z provides 10 extra ports of connectivity, including 2x DisplayPort++/HDMI for connecting two 4K displays at 60Hz refresh rate, 6x USB 3.0 for adding a keyboard, mouse, thumb drive, external SSD, and more, and 1x Gigabit Ethernet for fast and reliable network speeds. It also features a 3.5mm combination audio jack for listening to music or connecting a headset with a microphone.

Featuring DisplayLink graphics technology, the UD-6950Z can be connected to a USB 3.0 or USB-C laptop, providing the flexibility you need whether you're hoteling at a desk for work or sharing your dock at home. The vertical orientation is designed to reduce its desk footprint, giving you more room for the things that matter most, with easily accessible ports on the front for charging your phone and unplugging your headphones.

The UD-6950Z is compatible with most laptops and desktops running Windows 11 / 10 / 8.x / 7, ChromeOS 100+, and macOS 10.14+. On Windows, plug and play driver installation is available via Windows Update, while manual driver installation is required on Mac. The dock does not support macOS 10.13 and previous, Linux/Unix, or ARM-based Windows systems.

It's important to note that the UD-6950Z is designed for use with web and productivity software, not gaming or HDCP-protected content playback. The dock does not provide power to the connected laptop or tablet, and the laptop will still require a separate charger.
